At Hammer & Rattle, we are a small, family-owned business based in Durham, North Carolina, USA dedicated to celebrating the joys and challenges of parenting through thoughtfully designed apparel.
Our founder, Jonathan Carroll, carries a rich legacy rooted in the apparel industry, a tradition that dates back to the early 1900s when his great-grandparents immigrated to the United States and worked as clothing manufacturers. In many ways, creating and designing apparel is part of who we are.
As proud parents of two little ones, my wife and I understand the beauty and demands of parenting firsthand. That’s why we created Hammer & Rattle—to honor the incredible spirit of moms and dads everywhere. Our mission is to help parents embrace their unique journey with comfortable, stylish, and uniquely designed clothing made especially for the #MamaLife and #DadaLife.
We are passionate about crafting products that allow parents to express themselves while staying connected to the vibrant parenting lifestyle. Our hope is that you enjoy using our apparel as much as we enjoy creating it for you.
